With the process of the Western Development, a growing number of students are volunteered to be a teacher in western area. In my point of the view, volunteer teaching in the west is beneficial to both the volunteers themselves and the children in the west.

隨著西部大開(kāi)發(fā)的進(jìn)程，越來(lái)越多的學(xué)生自愿在西部地區(qū)做老師。我覺(jué)得在西部支教對(duì)志愿者自己和西部地區(qū)的孩子都是有好處的。

For one thing, volunteers can benefit a lot from their volunteer teaching. To help the children in the poor area, they will feel proud and create a sense of achievement; to learn to live in an under-developed area, they will strengthen their living skills and abandon their habit of luxury and waste as well as establish the concept of frugality; to serve as volunteers, they will enjoy the happiness of making a contribution to our society, which is good for their psychological health.

首先，志愿者可以從他們的支教中獲益匪淺。在貧困地區(qū)幫助孩子們，志愿者們會(huì)感到驕傲和成就感；學(xué)習(xí)在一個(gè)欠發(fā)達(dá)地區(qū)生活，志愿者們會(huì)加強(qiáng)他們的生活技能，舍棄自己奢侈浪費(fèi)的習(xí)慣，并樹(shù)立節(jié)儉的思想；作為志愿者，他們將享受到為社會(huì)做貢獻(xiàn)的幸福，這有利于他們的心理健康。

For another thing, those children who receive the education can also benefit a lot. Volunteer teaching not only provides a good chance for them to receive education and increase their knowledge but also brings more attention and warm to them. To some extent, the volunteers set a good example to those children in contributing our society.

另一方面，接受教育的那些孩子也能獲益。支教不僅為他們提供受教育、增長(zhǎng)知識(shí)的機(jī)會(huì)同時(shí)也給他們帶來(lái)了更多的關(guān)注和溫暖。在某種程度上，志愿者們也為他們樹(shù)立了一個(gè)貢獻(xiàn)社會(huì)的好榜樣。

Except the above benefits, volunteer teaching is also an important method to increase our national education and achieve education equality. To sum up, volunteer teaching in the west will bring a lot benefits in many aspects, so we should encourage students to take part in it.

除了上述好處，支教也增加國(guó)民教育，實(shí)現(xiàn)教育平等的重要方法。總之，在西部支教可以在多方面帶來(lái)很多的好處，所以我們應(yīng)該鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生參加支教。
