Buddha, Kamakura 佛像，鐮倉(cāng)
      This bronze statue of the Great Buddha was cast in the year 1252 and is located in Kamakura, Japan. It is 44 feet high and weighs 100 tons. Originally this statue stood in the middle of a great hall. In 1945 there was a huge tsunami that destroyed the hall and swept the statue away. Since that time Buddha has remained outside and remains facing the ocean. It is truly an imposing and an amazing sight.
      這座1252年的銅制佛像位于日本鐮倉(cāng)，高44英尺，重100噸。這座佛像原本置于室內(nèi)，但自1945年的大海嘯沖毀外面的建筑后，它就一直被放在室外并面朝大海。看上去壯觀而宏偉。
